Nursery Manager – Llantwit Major
Leean came to our Cowbridge site as a 15 year old school student completing her work placement for her GCSEs. She returned for the following two years to complete a placement. We could see that Leean already had an amazing empathy with children and knew that she could be developed into a wonderful childcare practitioner and so she joined the team in 2016 on an apprenticeship. Due to her commitment and exemplary work ethic Leean completed her apprenticeship within six months. She has continued to develop professionally through her many years at Fun Foundations and is now the Manager at our new site in Llantwit Major. Her qualifications include:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, Learning and Development
- Level 3 Transition to Playwork
- Level 5 QCF in Childcare, Learning and Development
Rebecca Lawrence
Deputy Nursery Manager – Llantwit Major
Bec moved to Wales in 2016 as her husband had been stationed here with the RAF. Bec had ten years of experience at a day nursery prior to joining our team in 2016. She understands the struggles that forces families face first-hand as she has experienced this life with two children. Bec is fantastic at reassuring and supporting families who move to our area. Her qualifications include:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, Learning and Development
- Level 3 Transition to Playwork
- Level 5 QCF in Childcare, Learning and Development
